Here is another cool question from yahoo answers. Check it out and see if it resonates with you.
Any suggestions on how to break in a conversation when approaching women?
My quick answer to this question:
The best topic is either her, or the location and context you’re approaching her in. If its a gallery, you can make a comment on the paintings. It ifs a concert, ask her what she thinks of the band.
She, is the best topic, in any context… Like asking her about where she got her hairstyle, or asking her if she’s new to the building… Whatever.
The best? A combination of both. How she relates to the context. If its a dance class. Ask her how she’s finding the class, and if she likes it so far.
But really dude there's no reason you should be confused about any of this. If you haven't taken the quiz to see how you stack up with women yet... Click here and see what your results are on the personal dating quiz.

Start with a subtle compliment. nothing to sleazy, so thier looks or bodies aren’t the go unless you really know what you’re doing. hair or clothing is safe if you know how to do it without sounding feminine or gay.
A good ice breaker would be
a compliment, a good compliment about the women
her eyes, her dress style, her hairs anything which makes u feel she is stressed about or takes time to groom
