Don’t. She is there to work out, not be hit on. A gym is not a nightclub. Many women get sick of getting hit on everywhere they go. It can be quite annoying.

Mmm… I think many girls don’t want to be approahced while being all sweaty and working out. but maybe you should start an accidental conversation, because if you are more specific like saying “Hey Sue, I’ve seen you are getting better” is gonna be pretty obvious you have been checking her out for a while. So keep it simple, maybe start with the typical hello. It’s a nice and simple way to tell a woman “I notice you”, without sounding to urgent.

first get on a machine near her and if she catches your eye contact then say hey whats up …that starts a convo…or like i had done to me…this guy just walked up to me as i was finishing my workout adn started talking just saying like hows it going…i see you here alot…blablabla…thats a start…also make sure shes not wearing a ring or leaving with anyone first!! lol GOOD LUCK!

There is no perfect way.
I have “picked up” women hundreds of times and even as fat and old as I am last fall on a business trip with colleagues I got a woman talking that they thought was drop dead beautiful.
Here is the big secret. Women are people. If you like talking to people you will feel comfortable talking to anyone. If you are afraid of talking to people you will not feel comfortable, it will show and people will blow you off.
I always set my goal to talk. I never set my goal any higher, how would I know if I want to spend time with someone until I talk to them? If the conversation goes well, then it can go someplace else.
Also, just wanting to talk to people removes all the pressure. If the person does not want to talk, so what? There is always another person to “discover”. Talking to people is an unparalleled adventure. Everyone has something interesting to share.
Set your sights on talking to women and getting to know them. Sometimes the conversation ends up in bed and sometimes it ends after about 15 seconds. Usually it ends up somewhere in between and sometimes it ends up in a relationship.
Notice that the women who responded in the positive to this question responded with a “talk to her” answer.
Oh, and show interest in the person you are talking to, not in what you want. If someone just met you why would they care about what you want?
