Women like it when ur naturally funny and when u have swagger/self confidence. Now u be the judge of that. Do u make ur friends laugh and keep a straight face cuz u didnt think u were funny? Do girls eyes get stuck on u like "there is something about u".... r u attractive and act accordingly? Be urself. Tryin to hard is a big turn off. If you really absolutely feel you must talk to a stranger on the street, keep it brief, polite, and learn to take no for an answer. Something like 'Excuse me miss, I don't mean to be so forward, but you look lovely and I was wondering if you'd like to get a coffee/I could have your number/whatever' is fine. And if she says no, apologize and walk away. This includes a non-verbal no, such as walking away or giving you a disgusted look. In general though, it's not the best form to just approach women on the street. If we want to talk to you, we will.
